Book it now!

The small picturesque town of Tata attracts visitors with its manmade and natural sights: an ancient fortress, a watermill, a magnificent lake and the palace of the Esterházy family.

Pannonhalma Abbey is the second largest monastery in the world. It is said to be the birthplace of France's most famous saint, Martin of Tours. The monastery was founded in 996 by the father of King Istvan the Holy. The architecture of the monastery has intertwined features of different styles — Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical.

The main building of the complex is the Saint Martin's Basilica (XII century).

The monastery library is the largest private book collection in the country, with over 360,000 volumes.
